MASKS

Unveiling the Arts and Works behind the MASKS

2024. Project for the promotion of tourism, culture and handicraft on masks co-financed by the EU with the participation of Italy/Spain/Portugal/Romania. The traditional masquerade masks common to different regions of the European Union serve as a starting point for this project aimed at encouraging a learning path through the different handicraft production processes involved in the creation of the masks. The three-year project (2024/2026), involving the four European countries, aims to provide students at vocational craft centres and universities with the knowledge and skills needed to make masks a state-of-the-art craft product. On-line and off-line communication and tourism and cultural promotion activities include the realisation of a series of communication artefacts.

2007. The SETTIMANA SANTA IN PUGLIA brand was born from the idea of grouping together, within a communicative icon, those Easter processional rites with a strong peculiarity and characterisation, which distinguishes them from the vast panorama of Easter processional events that take place in all the municipalities of Apulia.   Painstaking research, selection and analysis of Apulian processional events, where the traveller's emotional involvement becomes the event's strong point and tourist attraction.   The creation of a specification signed by the municipal authorities, guaranteeing the quality of the reception services offered to travellers, has enabled the creation of a "network" between TWENTY-TWO municipalities in Apulia: from the Gargano to the Ionian Sea.   The design of itineraries divided by province, to meet the needs and interests of travellers:  - THE GARGANO AND DAUNIA  - IMPERIAL APULIA  - BARI AND THE COAST  - THE SALENTO  - THE MAGNA GREECE   The creation of a bilingual pocket guide, a dedicated bilingual web portal and social activities, where all the information on the event and reception is collected with the aim of deseasonalising and differentiating the tourist offer.
