CAPOTORTI MUSIC FESTIVAL

Associazione Luigi Capotorti / Molfetta

The second edition of the Capotorti Music Festival 2024 has the main aim of highlighting the figure of Luigi Capotorti and the young and established artists of the Italian music scene. The Festival will open with a round table on the composers of the Neapolitan Apulian school, which will be attended by musicologists, music critics, radio broadcasters and journalists of international standing. The central event of the Festival will feature the orchestra, the Luigi Capotorti Choir and renowned soloists in the performance of several choruses and opera arias with a tribute to Giacomo Puccini, on the 100th anniversary of his death. The last summer appointments will feature two instrumental ensembles: a saxophone quartet and a string and clarinet quintet. The Festival will close in November with the presentation of the new critical edition of the motet for string quartet and tenor voice ‘Jam cessa crudelis’ by Luigi Capotorti. We took care of communication with the design and realisation of communication artefacts and social activities. PROGRAM Thursday 4 July, 7 p.m. Mons.
